Bramble is a Cob Pony. He puts his past experience as a pony club pony to good use at Gaddesden. He loves to participate in the games and activities that our riders take part in. His pony club days may be over, but he still loves to hack out.

Angus is a Highland Pony . He is a sturdy and very gentle fellow, although sometimes a bit stubborn. He has a fantastic gait which provides excellent therapeutic benefits for our riders. When not working, he loves to roll in the mud, much to the dismay of volunteer groomers.

Codey loves nothing better than a good groom and a cuddle and laps up all the attention he gets from the riders and volunteers. He has a very gentle nature which makes him a great pony to practice your grooming and tacking up with, and has quickly become an important part of the Gaddesden pony team!

Toto is a skewbald co, he is settling in well to his new role as an RDA pony as he was used to visiting the centre and working in the indoor school with the Pony Club. Toto is the perfect size for our younger riders and is very patient.

'By George' was born just a few miles from Gaddesden Place and was backed in the indoor school by Trina Hall - so feels right at home. His mum was a Connemara pony and his dad a thoroughbred called King George - hence his name 'By George'.
He has acheived so much in his life and is now taking RDA work in his stride. He has an incredibly gentle nature and is a favourite with riders and volunteers alike .....he is now referred to as 'Gorgeous George'!
Our ponies work very hard 5 days a week to provide a unique experience for their riders and in return we are dedicated to giving them the best possible care - if you would like to support us in this please see details of our Pony Sponsorship scheme in more detail.
