Bramble is a Cob Pony. He puts his past experience as a pony club pony to good use at Gaddesden. He loves to participate in the games and activities that our riders take part in. His pony club days may be over, but he still loves to hack out.

Angus is a Highland Pony . He is a sturdy and very gentle fellow, although sometimes a bit stubborn. He has a fantastic gait which provides excellent therapeutic benefits for our riders. When not working, he loves to roll in the mud, much to the dismay of volunteer groomers.

Blue is a grey Connemara and the newest member of the Gaddesden team. He has been a bit of an all rounder with his time and is particularly good at giving confidence which makes him perfect for us. He also really enjoys rolling in the muddiest bit of the field he can find so trying to keep him clean certainly keeps our volunteers busy.

Codey loves nothing better than a good groom and a cuddle and laps up all the attention he gets from the riders and volunteers. He has a very gentle nature which makes him a great pony to practice your grooming and tacking up with. He has quickly become an important part of the Gaddesden pony team!

Toto is a skewbald cob, he is settling in well to his new role as an RDA pony as he was used to visiting the centre and working in the indoor school with the Pony Club. Toto is the perfect size for our younger riders and is very patient.

Jim Bob is a cob. A gentle giant, he is our biggest horse and makes a great weight carrier. He's a good all rounder and has competed in all Pony Club activities particularly enjoying Cross County jumping. He's now ready to enjoy a quieter life and is a real asset to the team.

Would you like to sponsor one of our ponies?

Our ponies work very hard 5 days a week to provide a unique experience for their riders and in return we are dedicated to giving them the best possible care - if you would like to support us in this please see details of our Pony Sponsorship scheme in more detail.
